Hoonah's harbor is located at the crossroads of Icy Strait and Glacier Bay. It is a protected, well-run harbor, said to be one of the finest in Southeast Alaska.

GEORGE HALL HARBOR FACILITY (inner harbor)

Moorage
Approximately 230 berths/ 24', 30', 40', 48'.  Transient dock and new visitor dock - can accommodate larger vessels

Rates

  • $10 per day up to 25 feet
  • Approximately $1 for each additional 3 feet
  • Annual: $19 per foot
  • Electricity $5 per day plus fees for additional usage

  • Moorage: fees applicable - contact the Harbormaster

CITY WAREHOUSE

  • Freight and crab pot storage
  • Large hoist
  • Deep draft moorage

Fuel

  • Available at Hoonah Trading Company on the Ace Hardware Dock
